Blockchain committee

The STA Blockchain Committee provides a forum for sharing and discussing blockchain‑related issues that impact transfer agent functions. The committee focuses on emerging best practices, legislative and regulatory developments, litigation, and other industry issues affecting transfer agents, issuers, and investors.

The committee’s work includes:

• Participating in the development of industry best practices and policy recommendations
• Gathering and analyzing data on blockchain trends affecting transfer agent operations and sharing insights with members
• Identifying opportunities for STA engagement in regulatory, administrative, or legislative initiatives
• Addressing industry concerns related to blockchain technology within or adjacent to transfer agent functions
• Collaborating with other STA committees and external trade associations to advance the mission of the committee
