All members and interested parties are warmly invited and strongly urged to attend the Association's June 12th Quarterly Meeting. Updates of important industry issues of general interest to all transfer agents are on the agenda:

    Laura Pruitt is a Partner with the Securities and Futures Regulation practice of Schiff Hardin LLP. Ms. Pruitt joined Schiff Hardin from the SEC in Washington, D.C., where she served since 1994 as Senior Counsel in the Office of the General Counsel and then Special Counsel in the Division of Market Regulation from 1998 to 2001.

    Ms. Pruitt counsels broker-dealers, self-regulatory organizations, and other market participants on securities law and market regulation issues, with particular emphasis on compliance issues, trading rules and transfer agent rules. She also represents a variety of clients before the SEC and SROs in connection with no-action, interpretive and exemptive requests, proposed rulemaking, regulatory examinations, and enforcement investigations.
