STA Quarterly Meeting

Download PDF Version

All members and interested parties are warmly invited and strongly urged to attend the Association's June 11th Quarterly Meeting. Updates of important industry issues of general interest to all transfer agents are on the agenda:

  • STA Update
    Charles Rossi, President, STA
  • • States Revise Unclaimed Property Regulations: A result of the Economic Downturn?
Paul Griffith, Senior Manager, US Operations, Computershare

The STA is aware of a number of proposed changes to states' regulations pertaining to the filing of unclaimed property. Paul Griffith, Senior Manager of U. S Operations for Computershare and Co-Chair of the STA Unclaimed Property Committee has recently returned from the NAST Conference, where he was in dialogue with the State Treasurers of many of these states. Mr. Griffith will share his perspective on what we can expect in the future with states' unclaimed property regulations and the role that the STA can play to assist members.

Computershare is a global leader in transfer agency and share registration, employee equity plans, proxy solicitation and other specialized financial, governance and communication services.

Your attendance and active participation are most welcome. Please make plans to join us. The luncheon meeting will commence at 12:00 pm at the following location:

BAYARD'S
1 Hanover Square
New York, New York

The registration price is $70.00 per person. If three (3) or more are attending from the same company the cost is $60.00 per person. This includes an excellent luncheon. This meeting affords you the opportunity to network with other industry professionals and to discuss these and other issues affecting your business Please mail your reservation promptly on the enclosed form, accompanied by your remittance payable to: The Securities Transfer Association, Inc.
